Path seat installation

This Parish Seat located along the Multi-user path at Battledown between Oakley and Kempshott was vandalised last year.

 

The Oakley Men’s Shed were approached by the Parish Clerk to see if we could repair and refurbish the remains of the seat.

 

A cost was agreed between the Parish Clerk and the Oakley Men’s Shed.

 

We have rebuilt the seat using quality wood and fixings and made as indestructible as possible.

At the start of May some Men’s Shed members and Jubiloaks conservation group installed the seat.

We would like to thank Alan Betteridge for transporting the seat and concrete to the site.
